Why do we collect information?

To keep the platform reliable, secure, and improving over time. Some data is collected to operate your account, some for security and monitoring, and some for aggregated usage analytics.

Connecting a trading account via a supported brokerage provider is optional. If you don’t connect a trading account, no brokerage/trading data is shared through this integration.

What do we collect?

Account details — your email (if you sign up) to create an account, sign in, recover access, and send requested notifications.
Usage data — actions and metrics to improve the product (e.g., viewed screens, performance, errors). Some is aggregated/statistical, and some may be linked to your account for operations and improvement.
Security & operational logs — e.g., IP address, user agent, timestamps, technical identifiers, and rate-limit metrics to protect against abuse, fraud, and failures.
In-product content — e.g., watchlists, virtual portfolio, analysis settings, and a trading journal (if used) to enable functionality and sync across devices.
If you connect a trading account — we may store technical identifiers related to the integration (e.g., provider connection/account identifiers, connection status, and authorization refresh date), plus operational request/response logs for security and monitoring.

We do not sell personal data. We aim to collect the minimum required for operations, security, and service improvement.

Biometric and Face Data

Simvestrix does not collect, capture, process, analyze, store, or share face data, facial geometry, biometric identifiers, or biometric information. The current version of the app does not use Face ID, Touch ID, or any other biometric authentication method.

Because no face data or biometric information is collected, no such data is stored, shared, or retained.

Trading account connection (optional)

If you choose to connect a trading account, the integration is performed with a supported third-party brokerage provider using an authorization mechanism (OAuth) with your consent. The brokerage provider manages your trading account and funds as part of its services.

What is shared with the brokerage provider? Only what’s required to connect and execute the trading actions you request (e.g., authorization and action requests/statuses).
What we don’t do: Simvestrix does not hold customer funds and does not store brokerage/trading passwords.
Disconnect anytime — you can disconnect from within the app (and in some cases via the provider settings).

How do we use the information?

To operate the service (sign-in, account management, saving your data and requested actions).
For monitoring, usage analytics, and improving UX (including performance and error metrics).
For security, anomaly detection, and abuse prevention.
If you connect a trading account: to operate the integration, show execution statuses, and keep operational/security records of interactions with the provider.

Who do we share with?

We may use service providers (such as hosting, email delivery, and analytics) to operate the platform.
Sharing is limited to what’s necessary and subject to confidentiality obligations and applicable law.
We do not sell personal data and do not share it for intrusive advertising.

If you connect a trading account, the connected brokerage provider is the third-party service used for the integration and the trading actions you request.

Your choices

You can request deletion of your account and identifying data.
You can contact us to review/update your details.
Some analytics are used for monitoring and improvement. You can limit cookies via your browser settings.
If you connected a trading account, you can disconnect at any time from within the app.

Storage & Security

We use reasonable security measures to protect data, including encryption in transit and hardened access controls. We retain data only as long as operationally necessary, then delete or anonymize it as required and permitted by law.
